Fun Fall Events in Round Rock

Fall is festival time for those who make their homes in Round Rock TX. From Halloween parties to a Dia de los Muertos festival, there’s a fall event for you. Here are a few to choose from:

Halloween at the YMCA

Twin Lakes Family YMCA

October 20, 3-7 pm

One of the largest Halloween festivals in the region, this event includes rides, carnival games, trick or treating, karaoke, food, climbing walls and much more.

Hairy Man Festival

Cat Hollow Park

October 20, 11 am-6 pm

A truly unique event featuring the Hairy Man 5K, food trucks, live music, a costume contest, arts & crafts fair and haunted house. Kids will enjoy games, crafts and a petting zoo. The highlight of the day is the Hairiest Man contest at 4 pm.

Halloween Events at Bass Pro Shops

October 20-21 and 26-31

Bass Pro Shops will offer trick or treating, a Halloween costume parade, crafts for kids and free photos with Peanuts characters.

Pumpkin Decorating Contest at the Library

Round Rock Public Library

October 24-31

Kids can decorate a pumpkin to represent their favorite character from a book. Winners will receive Barnes & Noble gift cards.

Round Rock Public Library

October 25-30

Preschoolers will enjoy stories, songs and Halloween activities. Toddlers and babies will be entertained with songs, stories and playtime. Participants should wear a costume and bring treats to share.

RRISD PIE Foundation and Round Rock Police Trunk or Treat

Williamson County Annex parking lot

October 28, 2-5 pm

Round Rock school volunteers partner with the police department to host an afternoon of carnival games, concessions, music, bounce house and fun activities for kids.

Fall Fun Festival

Old Settler’s Park

October 31, 9-11:30 am.

Halloween fun for preschool-age kids includes age-appropriate carnival games, a slide, hay rides and fun activities. Kids will receive a goody bag and a free book. Donations of canned food will be accepted for the Round Rock Serving Center. Costumes are encouraged!

Dia de los Muertos Festival

Centennial Plaza

November 3, 4-10 pm.

Celebrate the Mexican Dia de los Muertos tradition with a parade, dances, music, altar displays and crafts.
